ABOUT OUR FOOD:
The food you buy comes from the Earthen Path Organic Farm, a 14 acre organic farm which produces fruits, vegetable and herbs using ecologically friendly permaculture and annual cropping strategies. We use extensive cover cropping with a multitude of different species, draft horses for fieldwork and solar and wind power to help make our farm as independent from non-renewable energy sources as possible.
We incorporate poultry (200 broiling chick ens, 150 laying hens, ducks, geese, turkeys), sheep, horses, two Jersey milk cows and a couple of beef cows into a holistic, diverse system. This philosophy spills over into the surrounding community as we work with Full Circle Organic Growers Cooperative to support other small organic growers in our region as well as the general cooperative movement.
HOW TO PICK UP YOUR BOX :
You can pick-up your box on Fridays at the Oak Center General Store, on Saturdays at the farmers market in Rochester and on ?? at the Lake City farmers market.
For your convenience, we also deliver to Red Wing, Zumbrota & the Twin Cities on Tuesdays.
Options may be split by members.
